Frank Derito has been in the clothing industry for 45 years. From custom shirts to suits, his products are backed by knowledge and experience. Frank received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fabric Design and marketing from the Philadelphia College of Textile and Science on a full scholarship. He then perfected his trade in Italy – working in the fashion capital of Milan with Oscar de la Renta in the upscale men’s suit line which was a division of After Six. Upon returning to the States, Frank worked at Hersh Tyler designing and supplying dress uniforms for West Point, The Naval Academy, The Air Force Academy, Military schools and Police and Fire companies across the country.
Frank then branched out on his own to start Frank DeRito Fine Men’s Clothier in 1982. His personal business achieved success quickly as he became House Tailor for Lehman Brothers and Bear Sterns in New York City. Frank has outfitted names like Allen King to David Letterman and keeps New York stock brokers looking professional as the #1 shirtmaker on Wall Street.
